Khumbu Trekking in Nepal

Khumbu is situated in the Everest region the northeastern part of Nepal. It is a part of the Solukhumbu District of the Sagarmatha Zone. Khumbu valley is also known as the Everest region in Sagarmatha National Park. this region includes each Sagarmatha National park and the Sagarmatha Park Buffer Zone. In this area includes the main village area of Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Dingboche, chucking,  Pangboche, Pheriche and Kunde. The far-famed Buddhist cloister at Tengboche is additionally situated within the Khumbu. Dingboche, Kunde, Khumjung, Lobuche, Lukla, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Phortse, Thame, Thamo, Pangboche, Phakding, Monjo are the village of Khumbu.

Tengboche has a famous Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Sherpa people and is also a hub for trekkers in the Everest region. The Tengboche monastery is one of the largest Gompas in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The monastery provides amazing panoramic views of the mountains like Tawache, cholate, Amadablan, and Everest. The monasteries of Khumjung and Tengboche are ornately decorated with precious and religious paintings and murals and is intricately carved.

Itineraries

Day 1

Your Plan

1.Arrive Kathmandu. Today is the first day of your tour, Today you arrive at Kathmandu and refresh yourself in hotel.

Day 2

2. Sightseen in Kathmandu and preparation Today we will go for sightseen in Kathmandu and preparation for the Khumbu trek, we will give some idea about why is Khumbu more intresting and good place to visit.

Day 3

3. Trek to Lukla and trek to Phakding The flight takes you a breathtaking panorama view of the Himalayas, including the world highest Mt.Everest. After breakfast, you will start the trek along the Dudh Koshi.

Day 4

The trail will lead you towards Dudh Koshi River. From the lower Monjo, you can see Khumbila above Namche Bazaar. Khumbila is a sacred peak of the Khumbu valley. The trail goes gradually ascending and become harder. You will be seen the first glimpses of Mount Everest as you are crossing the mighty Hillary Bridge. The next section of the trail will be more difficult. Namche Bazaar where an interesting sightseeing as people in the region survive. Namche Bazaar is like a little Thamel, Kathmandu and stay overnight at Namche Bazar.

Day 5

5. Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar Explore the day at Namche Bazaar with the gorgious views of Mount Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablammand other magnificent peaks from the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarters where is perched on the east ridge of a village or you can do a side trip up to Everest view Resort which lies above Syangboche airport, and visits to Khumjung and Khunde which is the Sherpa traditional and lifestyle. You can see a piece of Yeti’s head at Khumjungmonastery and enjoy your trip at Namche Bazar and stay overnight here.

Day 6

6. Trek to Thame The preliminary section of the day is easy-walking, mostly flat, after a couple of hours, you will reach Thame. Along the way, pass a couple of Sherpa villages we can find the place is intresting, and stay overnight at Thame.

Day 7

Your Plan

Visit Thame Monastery and continue valley that leads to Tashilapcha pass for acclimatization. It is a peace and a beautiful valley. There is a settlement but its huts for yak and sheep. By Locally, you can have lunch and get back to Thame. overnight at Thame

Day 8

8. Trek to Lungdeng The trail gradually ascends and passes through many Sherpa route with different types of plants and animals, settlement of Sherpa people. The across Tibetan Yak Caravans trading en route to and forwards Namche to Tibet.

Day 9

9. Trek to Renjo La Pass From Lung Deng crosses a chorten on top of a ridge before ascends and descends. We will pass through some villages and rhododendron forest before reaching the Yak Kharka. The place is located below Renjo La, Trekking continuously to Renjo Pass slippery trail up to the Renjo Pass the fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding, then descend to Gokyo, and stay overnight at Renjo La Pass.

Day 10

We will hike to the top of Gokyo early in the morning, which have beautiful views of Gokyo valley. The massive Ngozumpa Glacier, longest glacier in Nepal and an incredible panoramic view of the Khumbu Himalayas of east Mt Everest standing , Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu , to the north Cho-Oyu and Gychung Kang to the South - Kangtega, Thamserku and many more. Today we will stay overnight at Gokyo and make your journey wonderful.

Day 11

11. Trek to Phortse It is the best route than trek through Machhermo and Dole because the route of Phortse village via Thar offers much better views of Khumbila and more peaks. It is the oldest Sherpa village in Khumbu region , stay overnight at Phortse.

Day 12

Your Plan

12. Trek to Tyangboche ,Namche Bazaar You will trek Tyangboche through a nice and peaceful forest, from where you can see a beautiful Mt Ama Dablam through the forest. You may see wild animals like Himalayan Goat, musk Dear, Pheasant. after sightseen in Tyangboche we will leave for Namche Bazar and we will stay overnight at Namche Bazar.

Day 13

13. Trek to lukla Today is the 13th day of your travel , today you will explore Lukla and enjoy your travel; Hence, you will stay overnight at Lukla.

Day 14

14. Lukla to Kathmandu Today you are leaving Lukla and going back to Kathmandu

Day 15

15. Departure day This is the final day when you are going back to your country with beautiful experience.
